Introducing Virga: shaped from the inside out, closer to the way nature builds than the way factories do. At its heart is an open metal lattice, grown through a new 3D-printing process, where every strand carries weight, light, and form at once. Strength you can see right through.
CRAFT
Born from metal. Raised by hand
Virga is never simply produced. Each piece is examined, assembled, and polished by hand in our Berlin studio, then finished with a surface left deliberately raw, honest about the metal it came from, and warm in a way no machine can fake.
Grown, not manufactured.
Virga is crafted from durable 316L stainless steel, formed into an open lattice structure that appears to have found its own way upward.
ORIGIN
A pen that began as an art project
Virga wasn't made to sell. It was made to answer a question: what a pen could become when it follows feeling, not just function. What started as an art project turned into something people find hard to put back down.
Textured at rest. Polished in motion. Every Virga is one of a kind, a sculptural object with no exact equal.
Innovative Design language
Fine strands run through Virga, weaving together, then parting again. Dense in places, open and breathing in others. Turn it in the light, and it never quite shows the same face twice.
In your eyes
The form leaves open what you see in it. Perhaps winter branches on a tree reaching for the sky. Perhaps a tangle of roots beneath the surface. Perhaps a bolt of lightning, frozen mid-strike.
